UP Stockholm

The Deuter UP Stockholm is a clean-lined 24 litre day pack for the commute and the weekend: a padded laptop sleeve and organiser inside, a top zip opening, and a padded front and reinforced base that keep its boxy shape even half empty. It is made from recycled polyester and carries on a padded Contact back.

Commuters, students and travellers who want a pack that looks at home in an office and still carries well on a walk across town or a day trip. Capacity, and what actually fits

24 litres holds a laptop of up to 15 inches (38 cm) in its padded sleeve, a document folder in its own compartment, lunch, a jumper and a drink bottle. The main compartment takes an A4 binder, an organiser unit sorts pens, chargers and cables, and a valuables pocket and key clip keep your wallet and keys apart. The pack measures 50 x 30 x 16 cm.

How it carries

A padded Contact back and padded shoulder straps keep the load close and comfortable on a long walk between trains. When you are carrying a full laptop load or riding to work, clip in the adjustable sternum strap and waist belt to stop it shifting; both detach for a cleaner look in the office.

Fitting it

The UP Stockholm is a unisex single size, made for back lengths of 38-54 cm and people around 158-195 cm tall. Set the shoulder straps so the base sits at the small of your back, and use the waist belt on longer walks.

The fabric is recycled polyester made without intentionally added PFAS, and the pack is a bluepass product. Deuter back it with a 2-year warranty.
