XTM Compression Technical Ski Sock, Merino Blend

XTM Compression Technical Ski Sock is a lightweight, supportive ski sock for people who like their boots snug and their feet locked in. The knit is 87% nylon, 10% merino wool and 3% elastane, with compression through the whole sock, X-tech cross-foot compression, a no-slip elasticised band and a seamless toe. Unisex, Black, in three adult sizes.

Who it's for

Skiers and boarders who want a firm, close sock under a performance-fit boot: lapping groomers at Mt Hotham, hiking up for a sidecountry run at Thredbo, or clocking up kilometres on a winter walking holiday. The compression hugs the foot and lower leg so the sock stays put, with no slipping or bunching inside the boot, and the light knit keeps bulk down when the boot is already tight. We stock it for anyone who finds cushioned ski socks too thick.

Fit and layering

An anatomical fit with compression from the band to the toe. Wear it on its own under a ski boot; layering socks squeezes the foot and leaves it colder. Pick your size by foot length:

• A2-8: Euro 36–39, foot length 23–25 cm
• A6-10: Euro 40–44, foot length 26–28 cm
• A11-14: Euro 45–48, foot length 29–31 cm

Care

Turn the socks inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle or wool cycle with a wool detergent. Skip the fabric softener and bleach. Line dry or cool tumble dry; do not iron or dry clean.
