Description

The Cardo Packtalk Pro / Edge 2nd Helmet 40 mm JBL Kit is a second-helmet kit with 40 mm JBL speakers and an Air Mount, and it fits Packtalk Pro and Packtalk Edge. 40 mm JBL speakers, a microphone and an Air Mount helmet plate.

What it fits

Built for Packtalk Pro and Packtalk Edge. Check the unit you own against that before ordering; Cardo's mounts and speaker connectors differ between ranges.

Why a second kit rather than a second unit

A second-helmet kit wires up another helmet so your existing unit can move between the two. You fit the speakers and microphone once, and after that the headset itself clips from one helmet to the other - no tools, no re-running cables every time you change lids.

Worth knowing

The Air Mount is the magnetic plate the Pro and Edge snap onto, so the second helmet gets the same one-handed mounting as the first.

In the box

40 mm JBL speakers, a microphone and an Air Mount helmet plate.

FAQ's

Will the Packtalk Pro / Edge 2nd Helmet 40 mm JBL Kit work with my unit?
Built for Packtalk Pro and Packtalk Edge. Cardo's mounts and connectors differ between ranges, so check yours against that before ordering.

What comes in the box?
40 mm JBL speakers, a microphone and an Air Mount helmet plate. Everything else - the headset itself and its charger - stays with the unit you already own.

Do I need a second headset as well?
No - that is the point of the kit. You wire up the second helmet once and the headset itself moves between the two, which is much cheaper than a second unit.

Is it hard to fit?
Same job as fitting the original set: speakers into the ear pockets, microphone along the cheek pad, cables tucked under the lining. Half an hour with the helmet on your lap.

How do I know which Cardo unit I have?
The model name is printed on the back of the unit itself, behind the mount. Failing that, the Cardo Connect app names it on the device screen once the unit is paired.

Do you stock the rest of the Cardo range?
Yes - the headsets, the second-helmet kits, replacement speakers and the consumable refreshment kits are all here, so a unit can be kept running rather than replaced.
