Bordo Lite 6055K (No Bracket)

The ABUS BORDO Lite Mini 6055/60 is a compact member of the BORDO folding lock family: 60 cm of riveted steel bars that fold into a compact red bundle and slip into a jersey pocket. It weighs 400 g and locks with a key.

How secure it actually is

The bars are special steel, joined with special rivets, and the lock body uses a high-quality automatic key cylinder. ABUS position the Lite as their balance of security against weight: real steel you will actually take with you, rather than a heavy lock left at home.

Weight against security

At 400 g, the BORDO Lite Mini is built for riders who count every gram, and its folded shape carries in a jersey pocket or a small bag. The bars and housing use particularly light materials and steel alloys to get it there.

What it locks to

Unfolded, it gives 60 cm of locking circumference to pass through the frame and around a post or railing. The bars carry a colour-matched plastic coating so they do not chip your frame paint.

Keys and mounting

This is the version without a bracket. To carry it on the frame, add the ABUS SH 6055 bracket, which straps on without tools and releases the lock from the front.
