Description

The USWE 2L Elite Hydration Bladder is the replacement or spare reservoir for your hydration pack: two litres of water, a wide slide-top opening big enough for ice cubes, and a body that turns inside out for cleaning. HydraPak make it for USWE, and the Plug-n-Play coupling is a quick connector for the drink tube.

Who it's for

Riders and runners with a USWE pack who want a second bladder in rotation, or whose old one has started to taste of last summer. Mountain bikers on a Saturday loop, enduro and off-road motorcycle riders, gravel riders, trail runners and fastpackers all use the same reservoir, and it fits any USWE pack.

Capacity and fit

Two litres covers a solid morning on the trail, and more on a cool day. The bladder is TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) with RF-welded seams.

Drinking and refilling

Slide the closure off the top to open the wide filling mouth. Fill it straight from a tap or a jerry can, drop in ice on a hot Queensland day, and slide the closure back on to seal it. The Plug-n-Play coupling is USWE's quick-connect system for the drink tube.

Cleaning and mould

This is the reason to buy an Elite. Reach in, grab the bottom and pull it back through the opening, just like turning a sock inside out. Then wash it with mild soapy water or put it in the dishwasher, then leave it to dry completely while it is still reversed. USWE describe the bladder as naturally anti-fungal. It is BPA and PVC free and made from FDA and EU approved materials.
