Who it's for

Campers who want room to sit up, spread out and wait out a wet afternoon. Nemo's own line for the Aurora is that four people can sit up inside and play cards on a rainy day. The footprint comes in the box, so the floor is protected from rough ground from the first night.

How much room it really has

The floor measures 3.0 sq m in the 2P and 4.1 sq m in the 3P, with 112 cm of height in both. Vertical sidewalls keep that height out towards the edges, and two doors open onto two vestibules of 0.9 sq m each, so nobody climbs over anybody to get out.

Weather and season

A PU polyester fly rated to 2,000 mm over a bluesign approved, 100% recycled polyester floor, also rated to 2,000 mm. Built-in strutted vents keep air moving even with the fly on, and the whole fabric suite is PFAS-free and free of fire-retardant chemicals.

Pitching it

Two aluminium poles: a hubbed 8.5 + 8.0 mm pole built around Nemo's forged aluminium Elements hub, and a single 8.5 mm pole. Inside, Nightlight Pockets diffuse a head torch into room light and gear pockets keep the small things off the floor.

Weight, and what you carry

With everything in the bag, Nemo puts the packed weight at 2.6 kg for the 2P and 3.1 kg for the 3P. The Divvy Cube stuff sack is rectangular rather than a tube, so it sits better in a pack and compresses down when two people split the load.

What's in the box

Tent, fly, poles and the matching footprint, which is PFAS- and FRC-free and protects the floor from rough terrain. Stakes, guy-out cord, a pole repair splint and setup instructions come with it, all packed in the Divvy Cube stuff sack.
