The Mammut Adam Ondra 8.7 We Care Dry Rope is a light, skinny performance rope built for the routes at your limit. Approved by Mammut athlete Adam Ondra, it is 8.7 mm thick, weighs 51 g per metre, carries a PFC-free UIAA Dry finish, and is certified as a single, half and twin rope. Its sheath is woven from 100% leftover yarn, so every rope wears its own one-off pattern. We stock 60, 70 and 80 m.

Who it's for

Diameter and what it suits

At 8.7 mm the Adam Ondra rope is triple certified: single, half (double) and twin in one. As a single rope it is a light, low-diameter option for redpoints; the half and twin ratings add flexibility for climbers who also run two-rope systems. It is built on Mammut's Sender construction, made for low weight and small diameter with a premium fibre sheath.

Dry treatment

Mammut's PFC-free UIAA Dry treatment repels water and dirt and holds water absorption under 1.5% in the UIAA test. It also adds abrasion resistance, and Mammut says the rope is durable enough to meet the demands of hard projecting.
