XTM Active200 Merino Womens Top is a midweight long-sleeve thermal for days when you keep moving in the cold. It is knitted from 100% Australian merino at 200 gsm and 18.5 micron, with zones of merino mesh across the body and under the sleeves, thumb loops, raglan sleeves and flatlock seams. Women's sizes 8 to 18, in Black or Pine.

XTM say the mesh zones add breathability and help control your body temperature during activity. It also works as an everyday winter top under a jumper or flannie.

Fit and layering

A regular fit, neither slim nor relaxed, that follows your shape with ease added for movement. The back length is 67 cm on a size 10, worn here by a 175 cm model. Thumb loops keep your sleeves in place and your hands warm, and the raglan sleeves are there for mobility.

Fabric and construction

The main body is 100% Australian merino wool at 200 gsm, from 18.5 micron fibre, which XTM pitch as warmth without the itch. The contrast mesh zones are 99% Australian merino and 1% nylon at the same weight and micron. The top is Woolmark certified and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, made from 100% Responsible Wool Standard certified wool, and is a certified carbon neutral product.

Packability and weight

About 190 g on average. That is a warm layer you will happily carry on every winter walk, rolled into a corner of the pack.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle or wool cycle with wool detergent, with no fabric softener or bleach, and do not wring. Drip dry flat in the shade or tumble dry cool.
