Description

The USWE Zulo puts your water on your hips instead of your shoulders. The curved, banana-shaped body follows the line of your lower back, a single buckle cinches it down, and your shoulders stay clear for a chest protector, body armour or nothing at all. We stock both sizes because the right one depends on how long you are out: the 2L for a race, the 6L for a big day.

Who it's for

Riders and runners who would rather not wear a backpack. The Zulo 2L is the race option for mountain biking, trail running and off-road motorcycle, with room for water, gels and a tool. The Zulo 6L is built for enduro, big mountain bike days and off-road motorcycle riding, when you want a light jacket, a spare tube and tools along as well. Both sit below upper-body protection rather than fighting it.

Capacity and fit

  • Zulo 2L (Crazy Yellow): 2 litres of total volume with a 1.0 L Elite bladder included. 17 x 45 x 5 cm and 240 g without the bladder. A multi organiser pocket, two quick-stash side pockets for gels and food, and a ventilated back panel.
  • Zulo 6L (Carbon Black): 6 litres of total volume with a 1.5 L Compact lumbar bladder included. 18 x 47 x 5 cm and 380 g without the bladder. A tool-roll style pocket, a multi organiser pocket, quick-stash pockets for gels, and foam ridges across the back for stability and airflow.

The single-buckle strap is the whole fit system: wrap it, clip it and pull it tight until the pack sits snug on your hips. The Zulo 2L fits waists from 80 to 112 cm and the Zulo 6L from 80 to 102 cm. On both sizes, cargo compression draws the load in close to your body for better balance.

Drinking and refilling

A magnetic clip holds the drink tube where your hand expects it on both sizes. The Zulo 2L's Elite bladder has a Plug-n-Play coupling, so the hose detaches and you refill through the wide opening. The Zulo 6L's low, wide lumbar bladder runs an insulated tube that keeps the water cooler for longer on a hot ride, and both sizes take USWE's Helmet Handsfree Kit, sold separately, if you want to drink without reaching down.
