Sender Fast Adjust Seat Harness

The Mammut Sender Fast Adjust Seat Harness is a light Sender sport harness with Fast Adjust leg loops you can resize in seconds. It weighs 340 g in size M, breathes through laser-cut fabric, spreads the load with split webbing and carries four gear loops. It is unisex, comes in Highway-Safety Orange or Ocean-Safety Orange, and we stock sizes XS to XL.

Mammut classifies the Sender Fast Adjust as personal protective equipment: the instructions in the user manual must be read before and followed during use.

What it is for

Performance sport climbing, from the lead wall to a day of hard redpoints at Nowra or in the Blue Mountains. The Fast Adjust buckles are the reason to pick this version: open them up over winter tights on a cold morning, snug them down over shorts when the day warms up, with no extra strap to fuss with.

Sizing

Measure your waist where the harness sits and the top of your thigh. Because the leg loops adjust, choose on your waist first:

• XS: waist 61–71 cm, leg 48–54 cm
• S: waist 67–77 cm, leg 51–57 cm
• M: waist 73–85 cm, leg 55–61 cm
• L: waist 80–92 cm, leg 59–65 cm
• XL: waist 94–108 cm, leg 62–68 cm

Handling

It has two large pre-shaped gear loops for easy attachment and two lightweight gear loops. There are four ice clipper slots, a chalk bag attachment and an easy-to-move, hot-forged aluminium buckle. A carry bag is included.

Inspection

An indicator in the tie-in loop shows when the harness needs to be replaced, and the tie-in loop is protected by high-quality plastic against abrasive wear to extend its service life. Check the indicator, webbing and buckles before every session.
