Who it's for

Commuters, students and travellers who want one tidy, tough bag rather than a drawer full of them. The 20L and 26L are daily carries for work, uni and errands. The 30L and 40L are travel packs for overnights and weekends away. This is a city-and-travel pack: for bush walks with water and layers, look at Nemo's Resolve or Persist.

Capacity, and what actually fits

  • 20L (45 x 26 x 20 cm): laptop, lunch, a jumper and the daily bits
  • 26L (47.5 x 28 x 25 cm): the daily kit plus a helmet, gym shoes or a spare layer in the big exterior pocket

Every size has a sleeve that takes a laptop up to 16 inches, and a tablet compartment.

How it carries

The back is lined with CCubed, Nemo's air-filled cushioning, body-mapped so it wicks sweat and stays cool on a muggy walk from the station. The 30L and 40L add compression straps to cinch a part-full load, and their suspension is set up for long airport and transit days on your feet.

Fitting it

Vantage is one size and fits all torso lengths, so choose by capacity rather than body size. Snug the shoulder straps so the bag sits high and close rather than slapping the back of your legs.

Access and organisation

All four load from the top. The 30L and 40L open wide like a duffel so you pack them like a suitcase rather than stuffing from the top, and they add a zippered shoe compartment to keep dirty shoes off clean clothes. Five zippered compartments in every size keep chargers, passports and keys from vanishing to the bottom.

Weight

20L 1.23 kg; 26L 1.41 kg; 30L 1.4 kg; 40L 1.68 kg. The shell is CERO, woven from recycled PET, with up to twice the tear strength and one and a half times the water resistance of a typical daypack fabric. It handles a sudden shower on the walk home; it is not a dry bag.

Looking after it

Vantage is an Endless Promise pack: durable, repairable, built with hardware that comes off easily, and accepted back by Nemo for recycling when it is finally done. Spot-clean marks with a damp cloth and let it air-dry.
