Lezyne Mega Drive 2400+ Bike Light

The Lezyne Mega Drive 2400+ is a 2400 lumen bike light with eight output modes and over two hours of runtime at full power - the brightest in Lezyne's range, for genuinely dark roads and trails.

Who it's for

Riders doing real night riding rather than being seen on the way home. 2400 lumens is enough to descend on, and the reason to choose this over a cheaper light claiming the same is that the output holds up - CNC-machined aluminium with cooling fins dissipates heat properly, so brightness stays high for the whole runtime instead of fading after ten minutes to protect the LEDs.

Brightness and runtime together

Lezyne publish both ends, which lets you plan properly. Full 2400 lumens gives you over two hours - a real night ride. Femto mode at the other extreme runs 450 hours. Eight output modes sit between them, from a highly disruptive Daytime Flash for traffic through to the long burns.

Infinite Light Power Pack+ compatibility extends the runtime from an external pack when two hours is not enough.

Beam shape

Five LEDs create the beam rather than one big emitter, arranged for high-speed riding over varied terrain - distance ahead so you can react, with enough spread that the trail does not disappear at the edges.

Charging and battery

USB-C with 2 A+ fast charging through a waterproof port, which is the part that fails first on most lights. The cable is not included.

Mounting

A versatile strap fits all common handlebar sizes, and additional accessory mounts open up other cockpit positions.
