Komperdell Carbon Ultra Zero Trekking Poles

Description
Description
Komperdell's Zero series is their answer to the question every gram-counter asks, and the Carbon Ultra Zero is the long-range one. Three telescopic carbon sections tapering 18 to 14 mm, adjustable through a full 35 cm band, and light enough that you forget they are in your hands.
A genuinely wide adjustment range
105 to 140 cm is a big band for an ultralight pole. It means one pair covers a tall walker on the flat and the same walker shortened right down for a steep pinch, and it means the poles can be shared or handed on. Most poles this light make you give that up.
Foam cork grip
Komperdell's Trek Pro 280 grip blends foam and cork - the moisture handling of cork with the low weight and wet-weather grip of foam - and runs an extended grip zone down the shaft so you can choke down on a climb rather than stopping to shorten the pole.
Powerlock 3.0
The clamp is forged aluminium, external, and adjustable with a single screw. You can see whether it is closed, you can work it in gloves, and you can re-tension it years in. It is the strongest lock Komperdell make and it is on their lightest pole, which tells you what they think of it.
Weight
374 g the pair (187 g per pole).
