Description
Description
The Katadyn Camp Series Shower Adaptor is a small shower adaptor that turns a Katadyn Base Camp Pro 10L or Gravity Camp 6L gravity filter bag into an outdoor shower. The Katadyn Camp Series Shower Adaptor fits standard 63 mm wide-mouth openings, and you take the filter element out before using the bag as a shower.
What it is
A small, handy adaptor with a shower head. Take the filter element out, fit the adaptor, hang the bag from a sturdy branch, and gravity does the rest.
Who it's for
Anyone who already carries a Katadyn Base Camp Pro 10L or Gravity Camp 6L and wants one more job out of it. After a hot day on the Bibbulmun Track, a salty surf on a beach camp or a muddy ride in the Victorian high country, a bag of water warmed in the afternoon sun becomes a rinse-off that takes seconds to set up. If you do not own one of those two Katadyn bags, this adaptor is not the piece you need.
Key details
- Fits: Katadyn Base Camp Pro 10L and Gravity Camp 6L gravity filter bags
- Opening: fits standard 63 mm wide-mouth openings
- Use: remove the filter element first, then fit the shower adaptor
Keep the filter element somewhere clean while the shower is in use, and refit it before the bag goes back to carrying drinking water.
Looking after it
Rinse the adaptor in clean water after use and let it dry before packing, so soap residue and sand do not block the holes in the shower head.
