On a sticky climb through the Gold Coast hinterland, that gap is the difference you feel by the first lookout.

Who it's for

Women and shorter-backed walkers heading out for a full day on track with water, lunch and layers. Padded hip fins take weight onto your hips, and a sternum strap that adjusts two ways steadies the shoulder straps on rougher ground.

Fitting it

SL is Deuter's women's fit: a shorter back length than their standard packs and a harness shaped for the female body. The AC Lite 22 SL is one size, made for back lengths of 38-48 cm, which Deuter match to walkers around 158-178 cm tall.
